# HINCRBY

> Increments the value of a hash field by a given amount

## Arguments

  The key of the hash.

  The field to increment
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="increment" type="integer" required>
  How much to increment the field by. Can be negative to subtract.
</ParamField>

## Response
